I played this short horror game that takes you on a walk through a park by a lake. Overall, it was okay, but definitely on the weird side. There were notes or signs scattered around that were supposed to add to the lore, but I’ll be honest—I never read that kind of stuff in games, so maybe I missed something important.

Atmosphere-wise, it did a decent job. It didn’t rely on cheap jumpscares, which I actually appreciated, and it had a quiet, unsettling vibe throughout. But when I got to the end, I genuinely had no idea what just happened or what the game was trying to say. It felt more like an eerie stroll than a structured horror experience.

If you like atmospheric, abstract horror games and enjoy piecing together story through environmental clues or notes, you might get more out of it than I did. Personally, I’m still not sure what the point was—but it was a chill, spooky walk, I guess.

This was very fun to play, I very much enjoyed it. Sound design, while simple, was still quite effective at creating a spooky and unsettling experience and while the ending was very unexpected (I was fully expecting a Loch Ness monster sort of situation lmao), it was quite cool of an ending. Also please have mercy on my very rusty Italian skills, I tried my best hahaha. Great job devs, I'll be keeping an eye out for any future releases!

Thank You! ❤️

very good

The scenery is honestly good, I felt like I was there. There are some issues, though:

For example, what is the reason behind all these vanishings?

Or what is the cabin doing there, and why were there coffins, and why was one of them broken?

What are we doing there? What is the reason behind it 😭.

Otherwise, the game is amazing, it was open-ended, so we don't know everything about the lore. The game is keeping you on edge without jumpscaring, and that is honestly good.

uh i was expecting a faceless man popping on my face, really disappointing to have no jumpscares, the ending leaves you with the What's next question. Feels like the devs got bored to continue the game and worked on another project

Jumpscares don't make a horror game. Atmosphere and sound design however, do.

I understand that, and you're right. It's my personal taste that horror games must have jumpscares every once in a while, and a sense of purpose during the gameplay filled with tension. That's how you make an horror game overall intersting. Granny does that very well, although it doesn't have that much jumpscare action going on, you are always trying to find objects (so here's the purpose) under the pressure of being caught by her. This game felt like a little unfinished story where tension would build up, but never really released it. And the game had virtually no purpose imo

(+3)

yeah that's fair. I think it might feel that way because it was made for a game jam. Usually game jam projects are more for the devs to test out ideas, engines and stuff like that under a time limit of a couple weeks or so. Or simply to have an excuse to practice making games tbh.

GAME OF THE YEARRRR !! YEAHHH...

This game caught me by surprise I won't spoil it but I'd recommend a play thru

A very tense horror game. The whole way through you think something is wrong with the not-so obvious story, then the ending happens, never saw that coming. Very well done !

I made a video on your game if you're interested :)

Great game! Was on edge the entire time

Amazing visuals, great sound design, one of the creepiest atmospheres I've encountered in games and a banger ending! Zero complaints, nothing to add, keep up the great work! Cheers!

Great game. Had me going on edge and really enjoyed the story. Good job

awesome work with this game. The definitely had some good jumps in it, graphics were beautiful. Adding the small bits of texts were wonderful ways to create the world we were in. Maybe add a couple more jumpscares but other than that I loved it. Absolutely loved the twist!
